Internationally acclaimed concert guitarist Terrence Farrell is noted
for performances in concert, on television and in recordings. During Mr.
Farrell's career he has flown over a million miles, performing in 34 countries
and in 46 states.
Born in Salzburg, Austria, he began playing the guitar at the age of eight.
He has won numerous scholarships and awards including one from the famed
Monterey Jazz Festival.
His stylish, forceful musicianship has been praised for the eloquent versatility
with which it moves from the Classical to the Romantic to the most demanding
contemporary compositions. Audiences and critics alike have been moved
by the depth, grace, and elegance of his interpretations.
He has toured for the U.S. State Department, played for an American President,
directed the International Classical Guitar Seminars of Bavaria, been
a featured performer on the QEII's world cruise and performed over 1,000
concerts on five continents. Farrell's composition "Gypsy Serenade" was
featured on a Clint Eastwood narrated tour of Big Sur, California.
Terrence Farrell's music is being used on a video about Monterey that
will run indefinitely at the Maritime Museum of Monterey.
An advertising firm in Portugal licensed Terrence's Silent Night for an
electronic email Christmas card for one of their clients.
